e.City Gold was at the presentation ceremony of Mobi Cascais, the new integrated mobility management system of this Portuguese city, which aims at providing more buses, parking spaces and shared bicycles to the local population. The new 100% urban electric bus of CaetanoBus stopped at the Centro de Congressos do Estoril as a new green solution adapted to the new mobility strategy of the city of Cascais.
Mobi Cascais consists of a mobility plan based on an integrated network of different types of transport. In order to implement it, the city created new routes for public transport, which will connect the parking areas for cars, bikes, buses and coaches terminals and train stations. The main objective is to promote sustainable mobility with efficiency gains both for the users and Cascais environment.
e.City Gold main features are aligned with the sustainability goals of Cascais, which includes the creation of new road links, initially in Cascais/Estoril, then S. Domingos de Rana, Carcavelos/Parede and Alcabideche. One of this new road links will be the Surf Bus, intended only for surfers.
